Oops. My host had some issues and is still working on the problem. Seems the site is up now, at least.

This is after the billing problem earlier. It was quite the mess but it seems they have it fixed.

I love my host, though. It would take a lot for me to leave. Some people get their panties in a wad over things like this but, hey, it will happen no matter where ya go.

This site, as well as several others of mine, were down today due to database errors. This has been fixed. I, and my host, apologize profusely for the problem.

With the latest WordPress, there's been a flurry of bitchin' about one of the changes. I don't understand why the change was made nor the reasoning behind it.

Previously, if I wanted to share a link, I could add one with relative ease.

I went into the Admin. Went to Links. Went to Add Link. I added the link.

If the new link didn't fit into any of my categories, I added another by going to 'Link Categories'.

Posts also had categories. They can be made to help with sorting and searching through a blog's posts.

I finally got around to doing the WordPress 2.03 to 2.04 upgrade that was put out way back in July.

I forgot to turn off all the plugins first but so far, it seems to be okay. Please, if you see any (new) errors, let me know immediately!

I just did an upgrade to this blog. It has hiccuped since then but that is my fault. I was a dweeb and moved some files prior to turning them off. Or something like that.

So if you've had trouble loading the site today, 'twas just me being, well, me.

I've solved several problems at once.

1. I've made the images more accessible. (current image section)
2. I've found a way to clean up my database.
3. I've found a way to organize images.

I've installed the Gallery 2" program. It allows me to put images in albums. So far, its a bitch to set up but once it is done, it will be done! Oh, and you can put images in your "cart" to download as a zip file or to print via Shutterfly.

I invite any advice or opinions on this endeavor.

I am waiting until 1:30pm to make a phone call so I am putzing on the 'net.

I was checking out my visitor stats and I a must say I am flattered! I get an average of 66 - 100 unique visitors a day. (unique means that if one visits the site twice in one day, they are only counted once). Different visitor trackers get different numbers.

For example:
Blog Flux says on 1/5/06 I had 132 visitors
SiteMeter says I had 95

Either way, that's a lot. (personally, I like Blog Flux's data and they way they present it)

For some reason, there are a lot of folks from Europe and Asia who come to this site from a Google search for "bdsm". Now, sure, I've mentioned it a few times but…. I did a Google search for it and got to page 7 without seeing my site listed. Maybe there is a Europe Google?? At any rate, Blog Flux says at least 493 of you got to this site with that search. That's about 23%!

53% of you insist on using IE as your browser. But that means 47% of you used something else! The Revolution is still strong!

Google by far is the top search engine. (89%)

In the past 30 days, 47 of you have searched (using the search form on this page) for the word 'editorium'. I haven't a clue what that word means so as a result, 47 of you got no results.

The other top words are 'battles' and 'david foster wallace'. Why?

And yeah, NOW you'll get a result at last.

Interesting way to spend my time. And now I am late. Arrgh!
