At the bottom is the code and links for some I am trying to do myself.
And don't forget Zokutou's Word meters.
Go to the Writertopia Toolbox for instructions on how to use these.

I have also found a site that has the CSS and other code for progress bars. I am going to work on it later to see if I can make my own. The same person who has that site has this code on another site:

Hi there.. Yep that's my code. If you need help, let me know. There are so many different variations on how to build a percent marker. I always looking for a new route to take in CSS. Some day I would really like to make it PLUGIN ready.

I've played with your CSS some and have come up with some cool versions.
What I'd like is some way for others to input their counts and produce their own images. I looked into forms and fried a few brain cells. They'd then link directly to the single image rather than a series of images like Zokotou. But then how could they link to it without it being created and saved?
Ouch, there went some more brain cells.
