Today's Progress

I've been doing some thinking.

I'm going to set BG2b aside for a bit and wait to see what Robin comes up with when she finishes the line edits/content analysis on BG1.

Today I cracked open part 1 of the Trilogy. I was totally not into it so instead I started writing a scene for it. I think I got well over 1K.

See, I got this book. It's about this heroine, see. You know, the sword-swing, goddess-blessed, glow-in-the-dark heroine. I wanted to write about the side to it that few other writers get to: reluctance to be one. Heroes and heroines seem to be so gung-ho to do their job. To save good from evil and to rid the world of some sort of something. Right? But what about those who wanted to do something else? You know, like, have a life that doesn't involve blood or weapons.
So, would you, the reader, want to know more about a heroes childhood? Or more on how they handled the job they were forced to take given?
