I borrowed a friend's boatanchor <a href="http://www.eham.net/reviews/detail/381" rel="nofollow">Icom 735</a> a while back but gave in to her demands I return it. ;) I still have the inverted-V dipole long wire. I guess each half is about 75' long. I asked <a href="http://ridemaps.com" rel="nofollow">Elena, KS4OX</a>, if I could 'borrow' the Icom again. :D I'm itching to fiddle with the lower HF bands. I don't think so.

That sucker was a great little multiband receiver that ran so hot you could fry an egg on top. Wonder if Hallicrafters is still in biz?
